Today, Friday 17th June, Catering24 is celebrating its 30th anniversary. An innovative company which has changed and evolved over time to adapt to the market with continued growth over the 3 decades and is well positioned for growth for the next 30 years.
In 1992, the CEO, Steve Lloyd handed in his notice to begin an enterprise of his own, creating his own catering disposables distributor company. Named Midland Catering Supplies (MCS) for short. Back then, it was 1 man, 1 van hard work and dedication that allowed the business to flourish, going from strength to strength throughout the years growing in delivery vans, earning national contracts and widening its' product base. Here we are, the year 2022 and we’ve just turned 30.
In the 30 years since Steve began the company, we have delivered to over 50,000 customers throughout the UK, maintaining excellent customer relationships and providing a great service to make purchasing products with us as smooth as possible.
The year is a big one for the business, not only for the anniversary but for the exciting move ahead to a new bespoke warehouse. We hope you can join us in congratulating our CEO, Steve and the team on all their hard work and effort over the past 30 years.
